19th Century, Oil on Canvas Flower Painting, André Benoît Perrachon
Perrachon specialized in the flora genre and other still-life compositions. He is best known today for his floral still-lifes, especially roses, which are part of major museum collections throughout Europe. Perrachon exhibited regularly in Paris and Lyon and was presented with several awards at the Paris Salons of 1859 and 1863.
